Hi, I live in Washington of the United States (west coast area) and in September of 2010 I’m going to a gig at Wembley stadium. I’m planning on staying there from the 9 to the 13. How much do you think the total cost would be in US dollars? Thank you.

but if you go for the tight budget then i would say: 450 sterling pounds
if you go for the expensive the: over 1000 sterling pounds

How long is a piece of string- you can pay from under £100 a night to several thousand. you need to check on hotel websites, or check out with a local travel agency who may be able to find you somethignin the Wembley area that is not too expensive.
As for the cost in dollars that will depend on when you make the payment- the exchnage rate is very up and down at the moment: it’s GBP= 1.67 USD at the moment, but that is not the tourist rate that you will get.
From Wembly you can easily take a train or underground to the Centre of London to see the sights.

For instance, meal at Claridges will be about $100US per person, not including wine. Meal at a gastropub will be about $25 US pp plus drinks.
Both will be rewarding experiences. It is possible to have a great time in London on a reasonable budget.
