Today Aug. 28th, 2009 - The Tea Party Express will travel cross-country on a bus tour from Sacramento, California, to Washington. Both sides of this fight are taking to the road from the west coast to Washington, DC. In what looks to be one of the biggest fights since maybe the Civil War!
On the left you have the liberal Democrats wanting to make health insurance a “requirement” for each and every person.
On the right you have the conservative Republicans wanting health insurance “available” for each and every person.
Along with the Fed. gov. moving into the healthcare insurance, comes an ever growing and larger government bureaucracy. This would be a gov. with little or no controls and oversight on its healthcare program. A good example is just to look at the other social programs that are either bankrupt or so will be. Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.
Now just this week it was announced that the FDIC Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation - is near bankruptcy! Fannie Mae/Mac have gone belly up or would have without a huge Federal bailout.
This is 6 (Federal programs) that are a big failure and mess. The problems are not so much the programs, but our political leaders horrible leadership AKA “Congress”! If a congressman is not on the take from someone, then the old fool is asheep and not doing his/her job!
Let’s look at the last one - The FDIC failure. Bank failures like they have been happening are for the most part the fault of stupid and lack regulations by both parties in congress. 81 bank failures in 2009 todate. There were 25 in 2008.
If congress knew what the they were doing, then we would not have 6 federal government programs so up.
No more growing the already BIG Federal gov. into a even BIGGER Federal gov.
