RV - parking near Washington DC on July 4 - is it Mission Impossible?

H-E-L-P!
We are touring the east coast and will be in the area of Washington DC on the 4th of July in our 40′ motorhome pulling a GMC SUV.
We need a place to park the RV safely while we take the car into DC for the Independence Day festivities.
Any suggestions?
